Responsibilities of Trainee:
- Preparing and managing production plans and schedules according to customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinating with Procurement, Production, Stores, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Monitoring production progress and identifying bottlenecks
- Perform material and capacity planning using ERP/MRP systems while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Analyzing machine, manpower, and resource capacity.
- Monitoring raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
- Tracking production KPIs and preparing planning reports.
- Prioritizing production activities according to delivery requirements.
- Monitoring daily production against planned schedules.
- Maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) and production routing in the ERP system.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and production efficiency.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports.
- Analyze production variances, bottlenecks, and resource utilization.
- Planning fabrication, machining, welding, painting, assembly, and testing activities.
- Coordinate long lead-time items such as motors, gearboxes, wire ropes, electrical panels, and structural steel.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines for EOT, gantry, and jib cranes, as well as customized lifting equipment.
