SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
- Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2026
- Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2026.
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2026):
- Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2026, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive)
Age Relaxation – SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years

SBI Clerk Selection Process:
- The selection process will consist of an online test (Preliminary & Main exam) and a test of the specified opted local language
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
A preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

The structure of the main examination (online objective type) would be as follows.
- Provisionally selected candidates not having studied (in class 10th or 12th) any of the specified local languages of the State applied for will have to appear in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
