In recent years, EY, like many of the larger accounting companies, has grown into sectors other than accounting, such as management, logistics, HR, technology, and financial services consulting.

Requirements

• Conduct in-depth reviews of financial statements and related schedules.
• Prepare financial statements based on available information and analyze the financial and operational performance of target companies using accounting data and management interviews.
• Prepare concise summaries of key findings from the financial and operational analysis.
• Identify and communicate key deal issues that may impact purchase price or transaction structure.
• Execute financial due diligence engagements in close coordination with Engagement Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.
• Ensure final deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with client needs and priorities.
• Develop an understanding of basic valuation techniques and related financial analysis.

Skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Understanding of graph preparation and the ability to analyze and present information effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work within defined timelines and communicate deviations and updates to the Project Manager and practice offices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
