Responsibilities of Lead Data Scientist:
- Build and deploy production-level Gen AI capabilities (OpenAI, Gemini, etc)
- Improve AI models for accuracy, efficiency and overall fitness for purpose.
- Evaluate third-party AI solutions on both functional and non-functional aspects, based on performance, scalability, and business needs.
- To maintain production-grade code, apply model evaluation and coding standards.
- Collaborate with business and engineering partners to set technical direction and AI roadmaps
LSEG Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or related field, or equivalent work experience
Required skills:
- extensive experience using data science techniques to address practical issues and a track record of successfully implementing AI models and solutions in production.
- Object-Oriented programming proficiency in Python with expertise in key data science and machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit-Learn).
- Proficiency with cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure and/or AWS, and deployment procedures, guaranteeing scalable and smooth delivery.
- Proven track record to establish and uphold coding standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Data analysis skills, with a foundation in probability, to lead robust model development and interpretation.
- Communication skills for summarizing complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical partners
