Roles & Responsibilities

1. Making cold calls to direct clients, channel partners, and potential freight customers.
2. Outlining the company’s maritime and air freight services and obtaining client needs.
3. Finding possible prospects and forwarding them to the sales staff in order to qualify leads.
4. Keeping thorough records in the CRM/Excel tracker of all calls, customer reviews, and follow-ups.
5. Helping to create and distribute company profiles, brochures, and introductory emails.
6. Assisting the sales team with unanswered questions, rate submissions, and quotation follow-up.
7. Working with internal teams to arrange meetings, rate talks, or demos.
8. Responding to initial questions in order to provide basic customer service support.
9. Providing frequent reports and updates on the results of calls, leads produced, and pipeline development.
10. Understanding and abiding by professional communication norms, data confidentiality, and company SOPs.
